REPOSITORY STANDARD

Method and source standards

The repository is independent, evidence-first, and correction-ready. It is not affiliated with Klickitat County government and does not imply wrongdoing, approval, ownership, or project certainty beyond what a cited record supports.

Purpose

The repository is not a blanket argument for or against data centers. Its purpose is to make the public record usable, show what remains unverified, and support informed decisions about enforceable community value, infrastructure, land, water, and power.

Classification

Official government records, released public records, journalism, community materials, requester-submitted records, and unresolved leads are labeled separately.

Boundaries and parcels

Ownership matches and geographic proximity are research leads. A parcel is not called a project boundary without an application, site plan, legal description, interconnection record, or comparably specific source.

Copyright

The repository links to journalism and records the citation. Full copyrighted articles are not republished without permission or a clear lawful basis.

Corrections

Corrections retain the original source trail and identify what changed. Submitted documents enter a private review queue before publication.
